Brian M. Rosen – Oliver, Jeffries

Brian M Rosen moved to San Francisco from New York 23 years ago and has been an active composer, performer, and vocalist in the bay area ever since. He has performed with Cinnabar Opera Theater, 42nd Street Moon, the Lamplighters, and the San Francisco Symphony. Notable credits include the PBS Great Performances production of Sweeney Todd in Concert and Taylor Mac’s 24 Decades of American Popular Music in 24 Hours. He was a founding member and director of the Webby Award winning a cappella group The Richter Scales and is responsible for arranging and writing original songs on their album We Hate A Cappella. Brian is a active composer and champion of new works merging music and theater, serving on the board of the NYC multi-disciplinary group Choral Chameleon as well as Berkeley based West Edge Opera. In addition to his musical pursuits, Brian has been an employee of Pixar Animation Studios since the beginnings of Toy Story in 1993. He is a graduate of Interlochen Arts Academy, Princeton University, and the European American Music Alliance in Paris.
