Elizabeth Etler – Choreographer, Valentine

Elizabeth comes to The Speakeasy with over 30 years of dance and performance experience in tap, jazz, ballet, musical theatre, swing, latin, and ballroom, for which she has earned many awards and accolades in competitions all over the country. As a choreographer, she has worked with Bay Area dance troupes such as Le Cancan Bijou and the Decobelles, creating dance pieces that blend historic genres with modern sensibilities and that revive the joyful spirit of bygone eras. Her work has been performed at the Edwardian Ball in San Francisco and Los Angeles, the Gatsby Summer Afternoon, the Art Deco Preservation Ball, and numerous corporate and charity events including the Auction Napa Valley Wine Auction and the 42nd Street Moon Fundraising Gala. She holds a B.S. in Neural Science and Dramatic Literature, Theatre History, and the Cinema from NYU and a M.S. in Vision Science from UC Berkeley.
