Cecilia Palmtag is a bay area native, and has been at the intersection of new works, immersive installations, and interactive theater for nearly ten years. She has trained as a performer (SFSU, MXAT, CIIS, Shakespeare & Co.), helmed work as a creative producer (Ragged Wing, Velocity Arts, Off Broadway West), and worked with local companies including; Playwrights Foundation, SF Theatre Pub, Central Works, Theatre of Yugen, Shotgun Players, the O’Neill Foundation, Voetica, and Samavesha. Favorite roles include: King Henry in King Henry IV p.1 (The Free Theatre), Hedda in Hedda Gabler (Off Broadway West), Ariel in The Tempest (Do It Live! Productions), Gran in Red Wolf (Ragged Wing). She’s created performance driven treasure hunts for prestigious museums, hosted Creative Speed Dating, and directed her own original adaptation of Marlowe and Goethe’s Faust. She is thrilled to be at The Speakeasy, and feels right at home.
