Joseph Prata is a graduate of San Francisco State University with a B.A. in Drama. Joseph’s previous roles include Amos Hart in Chicago, Garcin in No Exit, Narrator in Bare Wire Theatre’s Carline Yackkin’, and various roles in several theaters around the Bay Area. Joseph has been onstage since parental supervision was no longer necessary, and he has been singing, dancing, acting, improvising, and doing anything to make people laugh ever since. Some of Joseph’s favorite roles include Benny Southstreet in Guys and Dolls, Sweeney in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Dumbledore in Parody for Charity’s A Very Potter Musical, Papa Ge in the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute’s Once On This Island, and Nikkita Starloff in Sherlock Holmes and the Adventure of the Suicide Club. Joseph was also the co-creator of the comedy showcase company House of Improv in his hometown and the captain of several improvisation groups across California.
