Nick Dickson thinks it’s the snakes hips to join this wonderful show. He studied Theater Arts and Literature at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and moved to San Francisco to attend the Clown Conservatory. One of his first shows in the Bay Area was for the Bay One Acts at the Boxcar Theatre in 2009. Since, he has performed with several companies, including Marin Shakes (Taming of the Shrew), CalShakes (Taming of the Shrew[again]), and most recently We Players (Taming [just kidding]–Twelfth Night and Midsummer). Other companies he’s loved working with are PianoFight and Bay Area Children’s Theatre. As a teacher in the theater, Nick developed an improv course at UCSC, taught improv for Marin Shakes’ Youth Summer Camp, and he has led workshops in acrobatic pratfalls. He is pleased to work with such talented people and looks forward to his time at The Speakeasy.
